Understanding What is Important. Doing What is Right.
At Geospace Technologies Corporation, values and ethics are the guiding force through which we proactively maintain the highest standards of business conduct. Our Core Values guide our corporate policies and practices and promote ethical business conduct and compliance with the law. Our employees understand the importance of applying our Core Values toward their daily best practices.
Geospace actively supports the communities where our employees live and work. We seek to give back through philanthropic outreach toward a healthier, safer, and more sustainable community. We come together in support of our communities, our families, and our friends.
Whether it’s as a member of our young employees’ group, RU30; as teams in fundraising walks; or participating in charity auctions, we enjoy the camaraderie that comes with giving back to society.
Near and dear to our hearts is the Fort Bend Women’s Center, which we’ve proudly supported for many years. Their mission is to provide healing and hope to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in the Greater Houston Area. We encourage others to learn more about ways to contribute time or resources to this important community partner.
Confidential Ethics Hotline
Geospace Technologies Confidential Ethics Hotline for Suppliers and Customers
We have implemented a global confidential ethics hotline as part of our continuing efforts to assure compliance with our Code of Business Conduct and to act with honesty and integrity in all of our dealings. This is a confidential tool available for use by any supplier or customer who has reason to believe a Geospace employee or supplier is in violation of these policies. (Transactional issues, such as deliveries, payments, or other related items should be directed to the general contact phone or email.)
USA, CANADA, AND COLOMBIA
We encourage supplier and customer reports of possible violations of policy and other misconduct, including violations of:
- Antitrust and competition laws;
- The U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act;
- Insider trading restrictions;
- Accounting, financial reporting, and internal control rules; and
- Health, safety, and environmental laws.
The hotline also allows suppliers and customers to raise issues involving personal misconduct by Geospace employees, including:
- Conflicts of interest;
- Gifts, favors, entertainment, and other payments;
- Confidential information;
- Political contributions; and
- Discrimination and sexual harassment.
Contacts can be made confidentially. Reports will go to the Director of Internal Audit, who will investigate and discuss with the appropriate senior executive officer.
