Colin Frazier is Director of Security at Geospace Technologies, where he focuses on the Heartbeat Detector®, a sensing system used to detect people concealed in vehicles. His work centers on helping correctional, border security, and defense organizations understand the technology’s capabilities and its role in vehicle screening.

Before joining Geospace, Colin served as Director of Operations at GeoVox Security, Inc., which commercialized the technology under the AVIAN Heartbeat Detector name. His experience spans Heartbeat Detector sales, distribution, and security applications, giving him a practical understanding of the questions organizations face when evaluating human-detection technology.

Colin regularly speaks at security conferences about concealed human detection and vehicle screening. His speaking engagements include the Construction and Maintenance Institute for Criminal Justice Agencies conference, where he presented “Deter Escapes with Heartbeat Detection.” He was also named among the team members recognized with the Federal Laboratory Consortium’s 2026 Impact Award for the Oak Ridge National Laboratory–GeoVox Security partnership.
