The slimline MP-26 is designed with regard to the modern techniques that are being used for inserting hydrophones into the groundwater in transition zones. Both the unit itself and its optional outer case have pointed ends to facilitate efficient insertion and retrieval. The slimline outer case includes an attachment area for a stainless steel harness used for recovery purposes, which greatly increases the percentage of successful hydrophone retrievals.
