ACTIVE SOURCE SPARSE IMAGING USING PERMANENT SADAR ARRAYS
Geospace subsidiary, Quantum Technology Sciences installed a network of four dual-use permanent compact volumetric phased arrays (SADAR arrays) at Carbon Management Canada’s Field Research Station to demonstrate capabilities for seismic monitoring and verification at an active geologic CO2 storage facility. Quantum Technology Sciences, gave two technical presentations during CCUS 2025 held in Houston. Scientists Kevin Hutchenson, PhD, Paul Nyffenegger, PhD, and Elige “Buck” Grant, PhD, Derek Quigley, and Jonathan Yelton, demonstrate the arrays’ effectiveness for verifying reservoir conformance using active source sparse imaging.

PASSIVE MICROSEISMICITY MONITORING FOR CARBON STORAGE
Geospace subsidiary, Quantum Technology Sciences, gave three technical presentations during GeoConvention 2023 held in Calgary. Scientists Kevin Hutchenson, PhD, Paul Nyffenegger, PhD, and Elige “Buck” Grant, PhD, offered concrete evidence of the superior the performance of passive seismic technologies for real-time monitoring of underground containment operations. Each of the talks addressed the application of compact phased seismic arrays for carbon storage monitoring.
MMV PRODUCT SOLUTIONS
